It is said that nearly 70 percent of our country is covered with mountains. This means apart from the percentage of the area that mountains occupy all over the country, they are a big part of and have deep effect on our daily lives, culture and even consciousness. Mountains in Korea are the only places to compress all the religious, historical, and cultural things, not just beautiful nature.
In my case, I'm making my graduation work in this class. I'm gonna develop the cultural product that represent Korea based on Korean Mountain. So I first extracted the contours of Mt. Halla and made a prototype with laser cutting machine.
